Frost Wolf Pup is Cute

So a while ago... eh apparently like 5 years ago (has it really been that long since I looked at this blog? Sigh, my life), I posted photos of the Griffin and Wind Rider World of Warcraft plushies.

So on the same theme, here's a photo of my latest Wow companion:

Yes, the cuteness is real :)

There are a range of in-game frost wolf pups to collect. These were all from the Warlords expansion I think. I'm a bit late in getting around to posting this hey. Still, cute is cute.

Sorry, in my in game photography skills are pretty lame, so I was trying to sit near each pet and then crop myself out of the photos. So all the pics are different sizes and now I can't line them up on this page. So I'm sure there are better ways to achieve it, but whatevs, it is what it is.
I've added the Wowhead links for each pup so you can find where to get them. The plushie you can get through the Blizzard store, or some retailers depending on where you live.

Once you have one in game, try summoning and emote /dance
Feel the cuteness overload.

An awesome resource for WoW pet info (in case you somehow don't know about it) is Warcraft Pets
Check it out for specifics of everything pet related. The creator of the site, Breanni, was even made into a pet vendor in Dalaran. How cool is that?

Happy pet collecting everyone :)

Ghost Moose

Hisashiburi, my old blog. It's certainly been awhile.

I was recently inspired to start posting again. Or at least to make one new post. Just to see if this blog still functions.

Since the archaeology mount that we've all been waiting for since the start of Legion finally dropped for me this week, so I thought I should at least post this:

Yes my dodgy level 30 Rogue is overjoyed as you can see.

<3 Ghost Moose

Here's the how to Ghost Moose on Wowhead

Summary:

To add the spirit of Huln Highmountain's moose to your mounts, you need to be level 110 (but apparently you don't need to be max archaeology). You basically pick up a quest in Dalaran that sends you to get a quest in High Mountain that asks for 600 bone fragments that drop 1-3 at a time from archaeology dig sites in High Mountain. There is an occasional dude that spawns and drops 10-15 fragments too. It took me around 3 hours to complete. When you have your 600 fragments, just turn in, watch a short bit of rpg, collect your moose, and do a little happy dance.

Good Hunting :)

Lesportsac Magazine: Spring/Summer 2012

Le sport sac, le sport, lesportsac magazine, spring/summer, 2012, super cute, kawaii.

I love Lesportsac

Lesportsac is a leading American fashion brand of casual, nylon bag. They make cute, chic bags that are also functional. I have loads of Lesportsac products, and just love the brand. So I was overjoyed to discover that in Japan, Lesportsac has its own magazine. Not only that, but each magazine comes with a free mini bag and keyring.

The 2012 Spring/Summer Magazine was released in March and comes in two styles:

Lesportsac Spring/Summer 2012 (Mod Pin Dot) and Lesportsac Spring/Summer 2012 (Picnic) were available on Amazon Japan.

Each magazine comes with a matching mini bag and a keyring - cute!

The two styles are Mod Pin Dot and Picnic.

I bought a Lesportsac 2012 (Picnic) magazine instore at Kinokuniya books. The design is super cute:

New Designs: Doll Seasons and Carousel Horses

Designs: Doll Seasons, Carousel Horses

I love to take photographs

I take a lot of photographs to capture those few that can be used as art.

I designed 'Doll Seasons' from a photograph I took of a Japanese Doll. It is a pop art style picture of a doll in different tones.

Doll Seasons

Carousel Horses is a photograph of a horse on a beachside carousel. I cropped the photo to highlight the way the horse looks directly at the camera as it passes by. The wild eyes of the other carousel horses give this picture a slightly garish, carnivale quality.

Hello Kitty loves animals, Blotz, Mimobot, Blind-box, USB.

I Love cute USB sticks

Introducing the 'Hello Kitty Loves Animals' series of BLOTz, Blind-box MIMOBOTs.

Penguin, Leopard, and Giant Panda
Each one features hello kitty dressed up as a  different animal - adorable!

There are 11 to collect (8 regular, 1 surprise, and 2 rare).

Regular costumes are: Panda, Racoon, Seal, Penguin, Tiger, Leopard, Bear, Fox

Rare costumes are: Giant Panda and White Tiger

The three I have are the penguin, the leopard and, as you can see, I was lucky enough to get one of the rares, the Giant Panda.

I was curious about what the surprise one might be, until I realised it is pictured in the wallpapers (actually, am still curious what animal it is)

Each Mimobot is 2GB, Hi-speed USB 2.0, Mac/PC compatible, and is about 2.5" tall.
The Mimobots come with a set of preloaded icons, avatars, and wallpapers featuring the mimobots:

Cute TV - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

My Little Ponies, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic cartoon, MLP: FIM, where to buy DVDs, figures, gift sets, online.

I love My Little Ponies

I have had various iterations of these ponies since I was little, and I have two on my desk as I write this.

Wysteria and Strawberry Surprise
My little desk ponies: Wysteria and Strawberry Surprise

But if you have seen any My Little Ponies in the stores recently, you may be wondering what has happened. Gone are the cute, slightly rotund models, and in their place are a new range of thin, long-legged ponies.

At first, I was confused: had my beloved little ponies developed anorexia just like the poor super models and hollywood stars that we see struggling down the catwalks and red carpets looking as though they haven't eaten in a year?
I was genuinely outraged for a time. Toys and popular culture have a huge influence on our perceptions and beliefs. I did not want to believe that the ponies could be helping to brainwash our children into believing thin is better.

Thankfully, though I do still have some issues with the new look ponies (I honestly think the older ponies are much cuter), I soon found out that the new look ponies are modeled on the latest cartoon adaptation of the franchise: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (or MLP: FIM).

Almost all was forgiven when I then found out that MLP:FIM is made by some of the people responsible for the utterly amazing and wonderful cartoon: The Powerpuff Girls. The graphics and the look of the ponies started to make more sense in that context, and the style of the cartoon is quite reminiscent of  PPG.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, does not disappoint. It is cute, fun, and teaches valuable lessons about friendship. What's not to love?

Seriously, I cannot recommend this show enough. I have watched the first season and am completely addicted.

I do hope they bring back the old look ponies though. In my opinion the world would be a better place if we had the ponies we know and love together with the cartoon inspired ones.

Cmon everybody: Group Hug!!
